Well, its been a while since I posted something, but i have not given up yet.

Oh no! I am going to back posting regulaly, with a 3 part info reel on Hellboy, on how he was created, how his comics became know, his transition to movies and now the expectations for his next movie.

 But until then it’s goodbye from me… see ya!

In this last installment of the Ironman info-reel we shall look at Ironman’s advertiseing campaign, the special effects used and make very early predictions about wheather they will make a second!

The easiest place probably to start is the Ironman movie website.

The website itself has a home page with the trailer for it, the trailer seems to portray Tony Stark as a hip new reinvention of the character, and obviously trying to get the character to seem more accessible to the audience as not all of us are multi-billionaires.

On the website the catagories are as follows:

Story, Video, Images, Cast and Fan Art.

The story gives information on the creation of the film and whose in it very briefly.

Images shows various screen shot from the film itself.

Cast shows whose playing who.

Finally Fan Art shows various pieces of art which the devout and unquavering fans of Ironman have created in their spare time.

Also to build upon what I have already said about the trailer. The trailer shows us a reinvented Tony Stark which i think some fans may like and some fans may hate. I don’t want to criticise here but did Tony Stark really warrant any reinvention to bring him into the 21st centuary for a mass audience.

We can gather from the trailer that there will be quite a bit of action and the stock explosions and the like, just what we expect from a good superhero movie!!

 The use of Silver Ironman should please many fans of the comics, as it was the suit Ironman wore in his first appearance, the origin story, this i know made me quite excited. If anything the film should be good just to see the original Ironman suit in action.

The Silver Ironman suit should be great to see in all it’s filmic entirity.

To go on to the special effects now and as shown in the trailer their should be many an explosion with cool fighting set pieces.

To capture the movements of Ironman, Robert Doney Jr. has to participate in motion capture work for a full 8 months after filming to make Ironman’s movement’s in the film look realistic.

Robert Downey Jr. is a big fan of Ironman also so maybe this Ironman could be faithful to the Ironman of today’s comic’s, while as you could have guessed Stan Lee will appear in a cameo role, as Ironman is one of his creations. So get Stan spotting once again!!!

Now to see if their will be an Ironman 2 is a bit premature I admit but we can see the fan communities approach to the movie.

The movies approach by fans has been Luke warm with some complaining about Stark’s persona in the trailer to just declairing it a oncoming dud at the box office. The otherside of the fan community seem to like Robert Downey Jr. in physical appearance to Tony Stark and also Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

I feel the films release will either make or break this film and also decide for yourself, will be the next Batman Begins or the next Hulk? You decide, and on that note i shall finish this three part series of Ironman and return in the very very near future with a review of I am Legend!!

I have returned from whats got to be at least a 3 month interval, and i return with the long promised Iron man series of articles.

This first instalment will talk about the long running comic series which this new upcoming movie is based upon.

Ironman was created in 1963 by the incredible man of Marvel Stan Lee, in Tales of Suspense #39.

Lee based Tony Starks (Ironman’s) personality around Howard Hughes the world famous aviator, as he felt hughes was a colourful man, just like Tony Stark.

The original origin story of Tony Stark was that, on a visit to Vietnam to see how one of his inventions worked on the battle field, was caught by a booby trap which put him into the brutal hands of the Vietnamese warlord named Wong Chu.

Stark was dying from a piece of shrapnel which had become lodged in his heart through the booby trap.  The warlord Wang Chu then made Stark creat weaponry for him, thius is where he met the Physicist named Yin Sen who helped Tony create an exoskeleton which boosted his strenghth and also allowed his heart to keep beating. This new exoskeleton of his allowed him to escape the warlords clutches.

This marked the start of Ironman!!

Iron man has had also issues other than supervillains to fight, the fight against the bottle!!

Tony Stark became a depressive throughout the years and started to become an alcoholic, which drove him to the brink of insanity. The consequences of his alcoholism were apparent when he lost control of his business Stark international and became a homeless vagrant due to it!

Dark times for Tony Stark!!

Stark sees himself as a visionary a futurist and see’s that the only way for earth is the future not the past.

in part two we shall talk about the transition Ironman will take from the pages of Marvel comics to multi-million dollar big screen event which is coming in 2008!!

I talk about this today due to the fact that an iron man film will hit the big screen next year.

I said about 1 and a bit weeks ago i would start writing articles again, but due to circumstances i have not….

But do not fear as there will be a truly new blog post on this place by friday, i mean it!!

After about 3 weeks of no blogging due to various occasions such as holidays, i return to my small website once more with the same objective of entertainment and information.

Tomorrow, i will start with more Batman anticipation and also i talk about some of my other favourite popular cultural entertainment.

In this last issue of the Dark Knight we will be taking a look at Batman’s new Batsuit and also who is playing Rachel Dawes in this upcoming film, and also we will have a sneaky peak at the new Dark Knight film trailer.

We shall start off with the new Batsuit, which has been vamped up a bit since the Bat’s last major film outing.

This new Batsuit’s cowl is shaped like a motocycle helmet, and is separated from the neck thus the actor (Bale) can move his head around in the Batsuit but still keep the Batman’s iconic image, the suit itself is also more articulated and looks much more protective and armour like, also it looks heavier than the previous Batsuit, so maybe Batsy may struggle running after faster bad guy’s…. who knows?

Also new’s about the casting of Rachel Dawes, well it is definately not Katie Holmes as stated in earlier issues, but it is actress Maggie Gyllenhaal who will be stepping into the role this time.

This is the new face of Rachel Dawes, and dosen’t she look a lot like Katie Holmes, who would have thunk it! hahahahaha!!

This trailer does not give away much at all in matter of storyline, but it does show us our first glimpse of the Joker and of Harvey Dent, but the question is, is it fake? That you must decide for yourself.

As this 5 part series comes to an end we must think about all the information that has been released at this early stage in filming and also we should look to the future in anticipation for what adventures Batman will face in his next big budget adventure, and not to the past as Batman hangs his cape in shame over his lurid past, with this as a final thought i leave you with a picture of the person who originally inspired the Joker character all the way back in 1940, Conrad Veidt, a silent actor!!

Today i was surfing the net for news of the up coming Dark Knight film. This film is to be the sequel to the Batman Begins film, way back in 2005.

Here is the new logo for the Dark Knight film.

This new film see’s Batman do battle with the garish clown prince of crime The Joker. Who is being played by Heath Ledger…. Many people said that Ledger would not be good enough to be the Joker or scary enough, and i had to agree with them as i wanted Paul Bettany to be the Joker instead.

You can see why we all had doubts about Heath, as he didn’t look the type to be sadistic and a lunatic, while Bettany i thought would be much better!

Yes i definately thought he would be the joker.

Me and nearly allof the fan community thought Ledger would not be able to pull the joker off…. But we were all pleasantly suprised by his garish look in a photo of him as the Joker some few months later which made most fans think that Ledger was the perfect joker for the job!!

Oh yes!! Ledger did shock us all with how the new Joker looks for the upcoming film.

Now with Heath Ledger cast as the Joker and the new photo of him in character as the Joker many fans worries over the next batman installment were put to rest…. Until they thought about who Harvey Dent/Two face would be in the upcoming movie….

Tomorrow on Dark Knight 2008, we see who was cast as Harvey Dent and How the Dark Knight is being Advertised at this time.

I was looking through my archive of ancient word documents, when i cam across this great start to a website article that i never completed. I didn’t complete due to the fact that i got boared and i had two tonne of work to do at the same time , so i scrapped the idea.

We start the countdown of the hundred greatest video games with a game which is not renowned around the world as the best game ever. This game is seen by most as not as good as the other survival horrors on the market such as the Resident Evil series or the Silent Hill series. I feel though Fear Effect is one of the best games on the old Playstation, as this game was the first game to introduce the method of cell shading into the gaming world. Yes Cell shading mainly only really works on kid games to make them seem more colourful and less scary, but the cell shading in this game does hold it’s own and still managers to capture it’s target audience.

The game also sticks in many fans minds as this was one of the first games to incorporate Chinese mythology into the mix of blasting zombies and the usual puzzles that you get in all Survival Horror games.

The story goes that When the daughter of the richest and most feared Triad in Hong Kong is believed runaway from home, a mercenary team consisting of Hana Tsu Vachel, Royce Glas and Jacob “Deke” DeCourt attempt to find the runaway girl and ransom her off to her Triad father. But all does not go to plan and what seem to be a routine operation for the mercenary team turns out to become a much more sinister plot of the worlds destruction with the Devil of Hell Yim Lou Wong at it’s helm.

In Fear Effect the story is also a brilliant and absorbing delight, as with every twist in this game there is another turn. The game also gets the player to become emotionally attached to the heroine Hana as you see that Hong Kong underworld is a dark and terrible thing to be a part of. The scares in Fear Effect come all the way through, and the tense atmosphere last all throughout the game. Any fan of Survival Horror I strongly recommend this Game to you.

•  Silent hill scared me to death, why the hell do i have to have a freaky radio that emmits static when enemies are near, it’s bloody creepy.
• I have started to read a new Batman story, which is called, The legend of the Dark Knight: Dirty tricks, i cannot pass an opinion on it yet, but i will blend it if it is in anyway camp.
• I have heard i Rambo 4 is being made, with rocket launching walking sticks etc.

Here is what Sonic the hedgehog is really like!!

I wake up this morning to a day filled with vast ideas on what to do with my day, until i decide to do what i do everyday, which is to watch don’t get done get Dom at quarter past 9, followed by some gaming and i think you can get the slow monotinous jist of my usual day.

 Now moving topics to the reason for today’s title, which is a funny story as yesterday i was struggling for reading material until i went into my dusty comic book archives and found a three part comic adventure from the Batman: shadow of the bat series which was entitled the Misfits and so i got to work on reading it. At first glance it seemed like an over the top Batman adventure with the likes of Catman and Killer moth. I thought to myself that Batman had suddenly reverted back to the old 60’s campness and still as i go onto the second issue i am not convinced.

• I have completed Sonic CD to see a great 3min cartoon cutscene, i feel all the stress was worth it.
• Shadow of the Bat is was to camp for comfort
• What bad guy in the world would want to call himself Killer Moth.
